Day 5 - Year 11

15th October 2020

Virtual Castle Hunt

Year 10 students had an exciting and a very engaging activity conducted by Year 11. It involved solving critical thinking and reasoning questions using a board game where students had to roll a dice and solve questions based on where they land up. There were different levels of questions and this differentiation of questions gave a chance to all the students to participate. The students were supposed to score 10 points in order to win.

It involved students to incorporate their mathematical skills and group work in order to score points and reach the castle faster than the other groups. There were some really good mathematical discussions going among the students. In addition to applying mathematical reasoning and calculating skills, it also showcased effective group work.
