Day 4 - Year 8

The students of year 8 continued to excel in exhibiting their talents and creativity on the day 4 of Maths week as well. Yenuki and Tamanna of 8C designed a wind ball – a sphere made up of squares, pentagons and triangles! Adianna and Kryzann of 8A linked astronomy with maths and explained how to calculate the body weight on different planets. Sophia Thakey of 8H explained usage of fraction in cooking. Kseniya of 8J came up with a beautiful poem on maths in her mother tongue – Russian language. Avneet Singh of 8H explained how Islamic art was related to geometric shapes. Maths board game was designed by Michael of 8I. A beautiful rounding roller coaster was designed by our Krishna of 8I, where she tried explaining rounding off a number. Students also had reflected their projects in the DTP.
