Math’s Week- Truth and lie game

Students were given instruction to find minimum 3 statements about mathematics, 1 of them false and the other two should be true. Students need to find out which statement was false.

The highlights of the activity were-

  • Class divided into 2 groups to find mathematical facts of different difficulty level

  • Collaboration and team work among group members

  • Students challenging their friends and creating their own questions

As learners our students welcome new challenges and meet them innovatively, resourcefully, creatively and imaginatively. Certain qualities that are nurtured by Mathematics are power of reasoning, creativity, abstract or spatial thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving ability and even effective communication skills. They are keen to learn new skills and are receptive to new ideas.
