Math week celebration started on Sunday 11th of OCT 2020 with a bang where students exhibited their

math skills and linked to various cross curricular subjects. As we all know that Mathematics expresses itself everywhere in almost every facet of life- in nature all around us and in the technology in our hands. Mathematics develops


computational skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Year 7 showcased the following activities on the first day of the event. Some of the students have come with Crossword Chaos! Their main objective is to give a quick fire to students about very easy topics such as division, multiplication and more. Few Students created challenging crossword puzzles and riddles. They used their IT skills to create videos on Paw toons, another group created a Minecraft game where they included solving mathematical questions and few students created math games on scratch using the skills on geometry. A group of students researched on the ancient numerical system and shared with the class. Students could relate m


ath with art, music, science, History, geography. They spoke about – why math is important for a healthy life style. Students researched on string art and geometric patterns seen in Islamic art. A group of students created a word search game with mathematical terms. Few students researched on Reimann hypothesis and Zeta function and shared with the class.
